Rakim Discuss’s his Feelings about Nasir’s “Unauthorized Biography of Rakim”

I was on a site the other day and a commenter was saying that there are very few sites that don’t talk side ways about Nas. I dont really watch to many other sites to heavily so I dont know. But, even though I dig Nas to death, he does do some things that add fuel to the fire storm of hate for him. Nothing Uber ridiculous, but small shit that has made many say, “Smartenupnas”.

Sitting here watching this video of Rakim speaking on the fact he doesn’t really feel to cool about Nas’s tribute to him because he never got his blessing, kind of gives me a headache because it makes it harder to defend one of my favorite rappers of all time. Why would you make a song about another man’s life, and never get an O.K. from buddy? Or at least ask him how he liked it after the fact? Baffles me.I understand its called the “Unauthorized Biography of Rakim”, but Just like Ra said, he’s exposing information about him that he doesn’t even speak about himself like his children’s name and such. Jeez Nas, this video right here just took all the greatness away from the “Unauthorized Biography of Rakim”. You watch and let me know how you feel about this, because it has me shaking my head repeatedly like I have chronic tremors.
