Free Steinberg Cubase 5 Tutorial

I’ve mentioned before about Pro Tools and Logic being the two titan DAW’s of Digital Music Creation, but much can be said about Cubase. Steinberg, one of the first to bring digital audio to the forefront with their VST (Virtual Studio Instrument) Technology, helped make digital production and music software a viable means for creation with products like HALion. Cubase, in addition to Steinberg’s VST instruments, has helped to make them a mainstay in a market which currently offers digital synths and samplers from thousands of developers.
Macprovideo.com has followed up with their excellent video tutorials for Logic with one for Cubase for newcomers to get familiar with the software.
Cubase is available on both Mac and PC and combines the strengths of both of the top 2 DAW’s – Pro Tools’ audio editing and Logic’s robust MIDI features and flexibility, which makes it a notable addition to the digital audio world, especially with a $499 price tag.

I love Cubase, think its easier to use and less congested than Pro-Tools. Something about PT has never excited me.
