Breakfast with Janelle Monae

I dont know much about Janelle, but I have seen her around acting all eclectic and what not. I believe she’s signed to Bad Boy records and the only artist I think in bad boy history to really be controlling her situation. She seems to be the only person not whining about puff and she stays steady touring. It seems like a cool position to be in. Shes not trying to be on T.V. and all that nonsense. She gets her show money while traveling the world and calls it a day. Thats a true sign of confidence especially in entertainment. Everybody that feels theyre “Different”, also tend to always feel they have to show the world theyre different which is corny. It seems like everyone in entertaiment, and especially hip hop, is playing the, “Look at how different I am” game. When heads are like that, it’s an act. An over compensation for what they don’t possess. Jonelle just IS next level and different.

Fellas, how do you feel about her. Would you wife? I personally like chicks that go against the grain. It’s so easy to be a run of the mill fly chick. Rap music videos have laid down the blueprint. Half the time it calls for a chick to artificially inflate her image which is such a disappointment when you finally get her home, she strips down and is totally not what you expected. I can deal with a woman like Jonelle because she keeps it all the way real with her style and image. Take notes ladies.
