Limited Edition Leica M7 Hermes

Since I’ve gotten my camera, I’ve been putting in work taking pictures of everything. Photography is very interesting because your dealing with capturing light in order to emulate some form of reality. What you see isn’t always what you get depending on the type of camera you have and the settings your using, making it possible for you to literally create your own reality photographically at the click of a button.

There’s been a lot of buzz surrounding the recent collaboration between Leica and Hermes who came together to create the Leica M7 Edition Hermès($14,000). The camera comes in 2 calf skin color ways (orange and brown) and is made with silver chrome making it sturdier than most cameras. The box it comes in is lined with silk and contains an atlier strap so the camera can either be carried on your shoulder or put around the neck.

Despite the $14,000 price tag, I think this camera will be hard to find as Leica and Hermes enthusiasts alike try to get their hands on it. Leica’s M series was already hugely popular, but the added touches by Hermes puts the series on an entirely different level.
