How to Install Cracked iPhone Apps on Firmware 3.0

Since we’ve been getting a lot of questions about how this is done, here’s a short guide walking you through the process. If you have not upgraded and then Jailbroken your 3.0 iPhone Firmware, you should check out our “How to Jailbreak your iPhone 2G/3G with 3.0 Firmware (redsn0w)“ article on Flawless. Anyways on to the good stuff.
How to Install Cracked iPhone Apps on Firmware 3.0
Prerequisites:
- You must have a Jailbroken iPhone 2G/3G with Cydia.
- You must have downloaded at least 1 application either free or paid from the App Store.
The following images have been borrowed from Hackulo.us, which is also the source for the applications you’ll be downloading. They deserve ALL credit.
When you see parentheses ” ” below, only type what’s between the parenthesis. This should be self explanatory.
1. Launch Cydia
2. Click on “Manage” on the bottom of the Cydia screen
3. Select “Sources” from the Cydia screen.
4. Select “Edit” on the top right of the screen. (You should be on a list of sources).
5. Select “Add” from the top left of the screen.
6. Enter the following when prompted: http://cydia.hackulo.us
7. Press “Add Source“.
8. Once the source has been added, go to “Search” on the bottom of the Cydia window.
9. Type in “Installous” and continue.
10. Install “Installous” on your iPhone from Cydia.
11. Go back to “Search” on the bottom of the Cydia window.
12. Type in “AppSync” and continue.
13. Install “AppSync“.
14. You will need to likely respring your phone, so when Cydia prompts you to, just continue until you’re back to your iPhone home screen.
15. Find “Installous“, and load the application.
16. Locate the Application you want from the Installous Browser (which browses Appulo.us).
17. Install and enjoy!
Provided you’ve done everything in this guide correctly, you should not have any problems both downloading these apps, or synching these apps to your iTunes.
Notes: When I upgraded, I deleted all of my old apps, and started fresh. You may not need to, but starting clean is always recommended. If for some reason you’re still lost, you can leave a comment here, or visit Hackulo.us who either created or host Appulous/Installous/AppSync.

Under settings, make sure iTunes Sync in on.

Yes. You can download just about every app in the app store.

i had my iphone jailbroken today and figured out how to get apps through this site. i downloaded around 5 apps then it started asking me to sign in and choose method of payment then said unavailable when i tried again, why is this happening?

i have firmware 4.0, ive got the appsync version 4.0, and my installous has ipodsync set as on… why is itunes still deleting my apps i download in installous when i sync it???? HELP ME PLEASE :( :( :(

downloaded my installous it opens for 2 seconds then closes i need some help
if you want your apps from your ipod(cracked apps you downloaded)to go from your ipod to your computer, then on itunes, plug in your ipod, then right-click your ipod on the left side where it says music, video and all that crap haha. right-click it and then click on “Transfer purchases?” i beleive thats what it was. (sorry,i dont have itunes on this computer so bear with me). it should start moving your apps to your computer :)

The post wast really helpful. However I can’t install the installous from cydia because there was a conflict with my firmware. I only iOS 3.0 and cydia requires 3.1. Need help. Thanks.
Could the people who make the apps cracked please make your own free app because the add thing will not work on my itouch 4.1

To get the cracked apps on your iTunes when your iPods plugged I’n click on the thing that tells you all about your iPod and go to file click on the link that says transfer purchases “on who Evers iPod”
If you do it right it’ll work everytime

Downloaded isntallous. Download a few apps. But when i try to install the apps….it gives the message “invalid IPA”. ANy suggestions
4.3.1 should be released very soon so i0n1c’s jailbreak should be released soon.I never got any of the snowbreeze jailbreaks to work. simplest method I found to jailbreak my iphone 4

I was able to make Sn0wbreeze work on my iPod touch 3G…..
That DAMNED Jailbreak took me about 8 hours to make it finally work on my IPod …
And also after using Sn0wbreeze u need to use IBooty v2.2
And then Limera1n is “installed” but u must careful and not to download anything from cydia that makes you reboot because if u REBOOT you’ll have to turn on Your Computer and connect your iPod to IBooty and Reinstall everything ……..
Well on the BRIGHT SIDE a jailbreak from Greenpois0n well soon be able to Jailbreak permanently 4.3.1

To the people who lose their apps when syncing to Itunes. You will have to hit the reset botton in itunes to make it stop deleting your apps. When you plug in the phone move the mouse over to where the iphone is right click slide mouse down to bottom and hit reset. then eject from your system then replug back in and DO NOT Check the box again when itunes asks to add new apps. You will have to say yes each time. that is why it is deleting them

So I have a jailbroken iphone 3s and downloaded successfully SKYPE through INSTALLOUS. the skype icon has been created on my iphone screen however when i try to load it, it crashes! what can i do?
I just jailbreaked iOS 4.0 firmware on my iphone 2g but wen i download apps from installous, dey get downloaded but while installing they say “INSTALLATION FAILED:Invalid IPA” now wat should i do. the iOS 4.0 is not a real firmware, it just changes the theme… plz help
