NBA Commissioner David Stern Keeps it Real at Harlem Barber Shop
NBA Commisioner David Stern, decided to keep it real and have a sit down with some of the gate keepers of Harlem to talk basketball. Luckily nothing goes wrong. They tackled many issues and rules the NBA has enacted in the last 10 to 15 years, that some blacks have felt were targeted at many of the young black ball players entering the league.
I personally feel the league telling a lot of these sagging pant wearing millionaire ball players to wear a suit to games isn’t that big of a deal. These dudes are kind of role models. Anyone in the public eye is a role model to some degree because their “fame” does give them influence whether or not they want to aknowledge it.
Check out the end when someone asks David who’s going to win the NBA championship and he says,”I know who’s going to win, I just cant tell you.” Dude kind of half way acknowledges the NBA ,as well as many other leagues, are rigged. Ever wonder why a playoff series just happens to go 7 games when it really should have just gone 4 or 5? Extra revenues for all parties involved. Enjoy!
