Nicki Mianj is a bad broad. I’m sure she’d probably tell you that herself unapologetically. You can tell by the way she raps. I was checking her out in the “Five Star Chick” video and was like, “This chick is a star”. Ok, her whole barbie thing is kind of corny. Especially when she half way acts like a life size animatronic barbie doll. Everyone needs a gimmick at first, right?

Besides that I can see her coming into her own in the next couple years. Right now, her rap style has a little too much extra shit with it. It’s like she over compensates with her flow to keep people’s attention, but a whole song of that gets really annoying. It’s the reason rappers made the transition from yelling when they rap, to mellowing out and making their raps sound like they’re just talking to you. It’s easier on the ear and much more digestible. I’m sure someone will pull her coat to that fact when her team realizes her particular style doesn’t have that wide of an appeal. Rome wasn’t built in a day. And thats why I cut shorty slack. Shit, she’s better than Lil Mama.
