We want to introduce you to Grand Analog, a raw collective of seasoned record collectors, musicians and self described beat junkies. Band leader and creator, Odario Williams, describes the Toronto-based Grand Analog sound as a beautiful mess of rap’n'roll, dub and soul.

We would also like to let you know that Grand Analog has been invited to perform at CMJ in New York on Thursday, October 22nd. Their album, Metropolis Is Burning, is currently #25 on CMJ’s hip hop charts and that’s solely based on the Canadian reporting stations where it’s been #1 for the past three weeks! Album contributors include Cadence Weapon, Shad and saxophonist Martin Perna (TV On The Radio/Antibalas).

Grand Analog has toured with the Herbaliser and K-OS, and mixes live musicians with their turntables and lap top. They have performed at Pop Montreal, the Halifax Pop Explosion, SXSW, various festivals across Canada and are set to play the Cutting Edge Music Festival in August with the Roots.
