Is that how you’d write that and have it be correct? I’m not sure. Whatever its wild late and I’m not very sober. I was trying to think of something to write about and I figured I’d do a little something on this label my friend Nydia(shes a dope dj. hit her up for parties and shit.) works for. Daptone records is a funk lable out of NYC. They’re host to such groups as the Budos band and Sharron Jones.
Seriously if you arent on to them by now you’re super missing out. Whats so great about them? They’re dropping authentic funk records(yes I said records) that are all fucking killer. Make sure you check out their website and cop some records. For real, The first two Budos band records are some serious baby making music. My chick and I were living with 5 of my good friends. When the door shut and Budos started blasting they knew not to knock until it shut off.
