Ferrari 458 Italia

ferrari_485_italia_press_002

I was in montreal about two years ago strolling down St. Catherines street and I felt like every 10th car was a ferrari or lamborgini. I was like, “Montreal is ballin’ like that?” There’s a bunch of old men with hot cars out here in south florida doing what they couldn’t when they were young. I’d love to escalate their mid life crisis by riding by them in this 2011 Ferrari 458 italia.

The Ferrari 458 replaces the highly respect 430. egmcartech has the complete specs of this beauty:

Let’s get straight to the details you’re looking forward to reading. Power comes from a 4.5L V8, which is the first Ferrari direct-injection engine to be mid-rear mounted. It delivers a total of 570-hp at 9,000 rpm with a maximum torque of 398 lb-ft at 6,000 rpm – over 80 percent of which is available from 3,250 rpm. In plain English – that is stunningly fast.

You also get 17.1 miles to the gallon which is pretty decent for serious sports car like this. although we all know ferrari’s and lamborgini’s cant be your everyday car because of how delicate they are;The days you decide to ride around in the 458 wont have you finger fucking your gps trying to find a a G-spot (read: gas station).

The Ferrari 458 will debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show in september where the price will be announced.

Parking Tickets

pic-ready-park-large

Im the guy that would totally get one of these. I park like an asshole and I admit it. I love taking up two spots and parking crooked. Sometimes I park to close to someone’s drivers side door and laugh when I watch them have to climb in through their passenger side door. This my world, so I shall park anyway I want in it.

These Faux Parking Tickets are for guys like me who are too cool for school. You can order a booklet of 20 tickets to stick on peoples cars when they park like they drank a fifth of  goldschlager. There are plenty of hilarious ones such as my favorite,”They way you pulled in, makes me wish your dad pulled out.” That one had me laughing from the gut and my tear ducts working full steam. These go for about $7, but the fact you can play traffic cop for a couple days is priceless.

2009 Challenger Vapor – U.S. Air Force x Galpin Auto Sports

dodg

The Dodge Challenger is probably the hardest car on the road right now. Everytime I’m cruising in my whip and I see one of those cars in my vicinity, me and every other person on the road is silently giving it the salute it deserves. I feel it should come with two chain guns mounted on it’s sides and shoot rockets out it’s grill.

Looks like the Air Force felt the same, because they teamed up with Galpin Auto Sports to further intensify the Dodge Challengers aura of badassness.

Together they fit the Dodge Challenger Vapor with radar blocking black paint, a roof mounted camera that can detect movement within a quarter of mile and stealth exhaust so it runs practically silent. To get In the car, your fingers prints have to be accepted by a biometric identification system located on its gull wing doors.

The car is tight, but unfortunately it’s only going to be used as bait to attract young highschool kids into the military instead of something useful like fighting terrorism. God bless America.

Sunbeam Tiger Concept

sunbeam-tiger-concept

Check out the Wheels! Those tires look like their straight out of the transformers tv show. The Sunbeam Tiger reminds me of the Plymouth prowlers that came out in 1997 and were discontinued in 2002. I remember cash money records founder Baby had a mean prowler in the #1 Stunna video. Dont expect to ever be able to stunt on any of your homies in one of these any time soon because concept cars obviously are 0nly for show and not the road.

In 1925, Sunbeam 1000hp Mystery became the first car to go past the 200 kmph barrier (and later even the 200mph mark), the Sunbeam Tiger concept from Ryan Skelley is a future model to celebrate the centenary of the original Sunbeam (1925-2025).

The Tiger Concept is an environment friendly car using materials like recycled aluminum tubular chassis, soy foam seats with Biofabric, vegetable oil resin body panels and the like. Environment friendly materials touch nearly every aspect of the car. Its electric batteries charge in four hours, zero to sixty comes in 2.3 seconds, and it can go all the way to a top speed of 160 mph. A single charge is good for 800 miles. All that sounds good, but we can’t help hoping that the car be able to reach higher speeds…

Phantom Corsair 1932

phantom-corsair_11
This is a Phantom Corsair designed in 1938 by Rust Heinz of the Heinz Ketchup company.  Recently the car was featured on BoingBoing, and I was taken back by the futuristic design, even for today’s day and age.
